What is OTDR testing?

An OTDR (optical time-domain reflectometer) sends light down a fibre and measures what is reflected back. It shows the length of the fibre, the loss at each splice and connector, and the location of any faults.

Do you provide test results?

Yes. We provide test results for the fibres we splice and test, ready for your records and handover.

Can you find and repair fibre faults?

Yes. We locate faults using OTDR testing and repair them on site, including re-splicing and cable repairs.
